About the Alaskan Diner Mystery Series
The Alaskan Diner mysteries begins soon after Charlie Cooke returns to small-town Elkview, Alaska to take over her mother’s restaurant, The Bear Claw Diner, after her parents retire. She’s just starting to find her own way in town and reconnecting with old friends when she stumbles into murder.
In the first book, Mousse and Murder, Charlie has been butting heads with the head chef, Oliver, who was more used to working for Charlie’s mom then for Charlie herself. Unfortunately, Oliver is found dead soon after an argument with Charlie over a new menu item. Murder just doesn’t happen in Elkview and the whole community is shook.
Charlie finds herself a suspect in the murder thanks to that final argument. And, once she is cleared, she is determined to help find the killer and protect her friends and community.
The Alaskan Diner series in a new cozy mystery series with the first book published in 2020. And, it promises to be fun series. I enjoyed Mousse and Murder and look forward to the other books in the series.
This series is perfect for foodie cozy mystery fans, small town mysteries, and anyone with a fascination for Alaska.
