About Get a Life, Chloe Brown
Get a Life, Chloe Brown is quite frankly one of my favorite books that I’ve read so far this year. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a fun romance or just a good book with relatable characters that will make you laugh.
Chloe Brown lives with fibromyalgia, works from home, and just doesn’t get out much. One day, she has enough, and decides it’s time to “get a life.” She creates a life list (because she’s a list girl!) with such items as: enjoy a drunken night out, ride a motorcycle, go camping. But, it’s not so easy to break your own mold, so she enlists her handyman by day, artist at night neighbor Red to help her. And, the rest is a love story that will make you laugh and will make you cry.
I love this book because the characters were so relatable. Neither Chloe nor Red were perfect, but they were good people and very, very real. Their relationship was also very relatable with all it’s ups and downs. Get a Life, Chloe Brown was a great escape and perfect for an evening where you want to settle in with a glass of wine and a good book.
