In this fun series, you’ll join social worker, Hildy Schneider, and her golden retriever as they solve mysteries in small-town Wisconsin. Hildy’s job as a hospital social worker and grief counselor naturally leads her to help families with unsolved mysteries. Both Hildy and her sweet dog are full of compassion for the victims and their families.
Since this is a newer series – the first book was published in 2019 – there are currently only two books available. But, that’s definitely enough for a short binge read. Hopefully more will be coming because this is a series I enjoy!
This is a great series for cozy mystery fans who love dogs and small-town settings. These books are warm, comforting (as only a cozy mystery can be), and enjoyable.
