The Southern Sisters Mystery series is an older series, but it’s one that still popular and enjoyed today. Sadly, the author, Anne George, passed in 2001, so the series ends after book eight. George packed this series full of humor, great character development, and fun mysteries.
In the books, you’ll meet Patricia Anne “Mouse” and Mary Alice “Sister” who live in Birmingham, Alabama. These two 60-something year old sisters are completely opposites but as close as can be. Their hijinks add a lot of humor to these books, but also a lot of love.
This is a fun series for readers who are looking for a light read with a lot of laughs. It’s also great for anyone looking for cozy mysteries with older protagonists or a southern setting. You’ll love Mary Alice and Patricia Anne, I just know it!
