The Alaska Wild series is a relatively new series written by a seasoned cozy mystery author, Paige Shelton. Unlike her other series, I wouldn’t classify it as a cozy series, but it’s definitely one that both cozy lovers and mystery lovers alike will enjoy. It’s more similar to the Sue Henry Alaska series or the Kate Shugak series.
In this series, a thriller author is on the run after escaping from an obsessed fan. Beth Rivers decides to hide out in a sparsely populated area of Alaska until her kidnapper is captured. It’s a place full of others who want to run away and hide so it seems perfect.
